MONOFIL has been a leading Brazilian producer of plastics-based products for more than 60 years.
Founded in 1942, the company began its activities exporting natural bristles. It was among the first Brazilian firms to produce synthetic fibers at the onset of the plastics revolution of the 1960s, becoming a leading Brazilian manufacturer of cordage products, poly-textiles, brooms and brushes. In the 1970s the company expanded into the injection molding field and it´s line also includes plastic housewares such as cutting boards, hangers, clothes-pins, squeegees, strainers and many others.
MONOFIL maintains a wide Brazilian client-base, including the leading supermarket and homecenter chains. It has also established strong global connections, with regular exports within Latin America as well as to the U.S. and Europe.
Headquartered in São Paulo, it´s plant is located in Ponta Grossa, state of Paraná.
